Book Review – Give The Dark My Love by Beth Revis

⭐⭐⭐⭐. 5
I had high hopes for this one, as it sounded just like my kind of book. I’m thrilled to say that it was. I enjoyed it very much. Five stars all the way!

This book tells the story of seventeen year old Nedra who wants to become an alchemist to save her world from the wasting death – a plague spreading around villages, killing hundreds of people.

There is so much to know about Nedra. She is from a small village, where she lived with her parents and her twin sister. She just got accepted to a top rated school to learn about medicinal alchemy. She wants to learn more about the plague and what she can do to help.

She meets Grey and reading about their growing friendship was the very best thing. It was so refreshing to read a friendship written right!

Although there was romance in this book, the story does not focus on that. Mainly the plot revolves around the plague. A lot of poorer villages have been killed by the plague for about a year now. Nedra is desperate to help the people who are getting sick.

I adored this book. The characters are so well written and the writing style really suited me! I’m so happy I started this year off with this amazing book!
